We have been here in Lebanon because they not only raped us, they also raped our land and dignity. Since the Syrian conflict began in March , men and boys and transgender women have been subjected to rape and other forms of sexual violence by the Syrian government and non-state armed groups, including the extremist armed group Islamic State also known as ISIS. Heterosexual men and boys are vulnerable to sexual violence in Syria, but men who are gay or bisexual—or perceived to be—and transgender women are particularly at risk. While women and girls are disproportionately targeted by conflict-related sexual violence CRSV , men and boys are also impacted. However, existing services within gender-based violence GBV and child protection are focused almost exclusively on responding to the needs of women and girls and very little attention is paid to the needs of men and boys.

By Luke Andrews For Mailonline. A married teacher accused of having sex with a year-old pupil was caught after a naked photo of her was circulated among the boy's friends and their older brothers, a court heard. Aylesbury Crown Court heard that Barber was a cover supervisor at the school and was bound by the same rules as teaching staff to not contact students outside school without the head's permission. On day four of Barber's trial today, Aylesbury Crown Court heard how a friend of the boy had shared a naked photograph of Barber with his older brother and other pals 'for a laugh'. It was later shared with a friend working at the school who reported it, sparking an investigation. Kandice Barber, right, arrives at Aylesbury Crown Court, Buckinghamshire, left, where she is appearing accused of engaging in illegal sexual activity with a year-old boy. A police interview of a close friend of the complainant was shown to the jury in which the boy said: 'I am per cent sure of one time it happened. They met up after but I'm not sure if they did it again after that,' He said it never happened at either of the alleged lovers' houses.

Unwitting boys in Grimsby were tricked into sending intimate pictures of themselves after sexual predator set up fake profiles. A serial sex offender has been branded an "evil predator" after targeting young boys in Grimsby and asking them to send him naked pictures of themselves. James Utting, 36, pretended to be a teenage girl in "cruel" deceptions by setting up false social media profiles using a picture of a year-old girl. He became "addicted" to tricking hundreds of other boys across a wide area of the country, including Grimsby, for his perverted online fantasies, a court heard. Matthew Lawson, prosecuting, told Winchester Crown Court that Utting created false social media profiles using an image of a year-old girl. Utting encouraged the unwitting boys to send naked pictures of themselves and images of them committing sex acts.

Young people have always explored their sexuality and shared these experiences with others. A lot of these young people will then go on to share these images with someone they know. These figures, suggest that sharing self-generated sexual images has become just another way for young people to express their sexual selves. But, for some young people, sexting can lead to criminal prosecution along with classification as a sex offender. It counts as an offence of distributing an indecent image of a child and meets the legal definition of child pornography. And this year alone, across the UK the police have investigated thousands of children for sexting including a five-year-old boy in County Durham, and a year-old boy who was cautioned by Northumbria Police. A stark illustration of how cruel the criminal law has become in this regard is illustrated by the example of 12 year old girl in the south of England who was being groomed online by a paedophile.
